Like many I did not know that 80% of the ingredients in beauty products have never been tested for safety. Chemicals linked to breast cancer, learning disablities and other heath issues are allowed in the products we use everyday.
There has not been a personal care law passed since 1938 and the US only bans 30 harmful ingredients compare to Canada who bans over 600 and the European Union which bans 1400. Beautcycounter bans over 1500 ingredients.
