About Us

Professional quality theater in your own backyard. Needham Community Theatre offers two main productions a year - a play and a musical.

Founded in 1956, Needham Community Theatre has been performing shows in the community continuously for over 60 years. Throughout our history, hundreds of aspiring actors and singers from Needham and surrounding towns have participated in our productions. Hundreds more have enjoyed learning about the inner workings of community theater by working on the production teams of our shows. Recent productions have included Oliver!, Peter Pan, Miracle on 34th Street, Jekyll and Hyde, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Chess, and the critically-acclaimed Titanic, the Musical, winner of many EMACT achievement awards, including Best Musical.

In response to interest from the community, NCT has recently begun offering theater education classes for children and teens.

Each year, Needham Community Theatre offers a scholarship to a Needham High student who has shown interest in the performing arts.

We look forward to many more years of high quality community theater productions, and welcome your support.
